Looking back I am really glad I didn't do it, it kind of now puts me in a weird but often funny place in my family. Those who can't outright shun me in family weddings or anniversary parties, will only invite me and my wife because they do not have a good reason not to, oh but I've been told, oh we're so sorry there just isn't enough room to invite everyone I hope you understand. Mostly I do get invited, I think because they don't want to offend my mom, still most know how I feel about the ORG and its funny to sit back and watch them uncomfortably walk near me and smile. If I had taken the dip in the pool I would miss all this action.

another attempt was made when i was in the 8th grade, i was walking home from school and a pick up truck pulled over right in front of me and there was another young jehovie, he told me to get in the car, i told him no, and he said that if i didnt get in i would be in big trouble with my parents, reluctantly i got in, he proceeded to take me around town to a few of my friends(worldly) homes and started telling me that these people were all going to die, and that if i wanted to die with them.

Yes, well I know my parents were asking those guys to "help" me make up my mind about getting baptized, I can't pinpoint one real reason why I didn't want it at first, mostly because I thought I was too young, I didn't feel it, also I took to heart that whole thing of living a double life, I didn't want to lie and be all like if I was into the ORG. because I wasn't, I didn't see myself as a JW I was more interested in all the worldly things, I started messing around with smoking, girlfriends, music, etc. I didn't want to get Disfellowshipped the week after baptism. In the end they just pissed me off more and more because questions were never answered and they kept demonizing every aspect of my life.

I was freaked out!! How did he know where my friends lived? When he finally dropped me off at home and asked me what my choice was, I told him to fuck off, and that to leave me and my friends alone. He then told my parents that I cussed him out and was under demon influence and suggested that my parents call the school and make sure I don’t hang out with worldly friends. My dad beat the shit out of me, I remember it was a friday night, and I was sore all weekend, plus he made me do work around the house all weekend long to teach me a lesson.
My parents attempted one last time when I was 14, I met with the brothers one last time, the guys tried to be all nice and talk about cars and airplanes, with me turns out they not only got information about me but also where my dad worked and disfellowshipped him because he worked for a company that also made military parts. On their last visit with me they asked if I wanted to study and work towards baptism, I told them no, they said “don’t you want to live forever?” I said not with you people, I’d rather die.
Did anyone else refuse to study and get baptized?

cut them up and tape them together and use them for christmas wrapping paper. I do that to my cousins (they are EX-JW's) ha ha ha they get a laugh out of it, mostly because I draw on the faces.

Who are those young JW SKINHEADS ?
by aligot ripounsous inat the latest circuit assembly, i noticed that quite a few young male jws (or at least attending youths), say sixteen upward and mostly mixed race, are skin headed.
apart from that, they are quite well dressed.
that way, elders won't reprove them for their long hair ... looks like an obvious defying message to a rigid organization.
